Because of heavy rain in kodaikanal power source has been shutdown in last two days.Huge gusty winds at upper kodaikanal so many big trees fell down on the highway and powelines has been cut down.This made real tough for kodaikanal citizens and the touristers .Many driveways has been blocked because of fall of rees on the highways and workers are removing the trees to clear up the roads.According to the officials of the highway the roads heading to Poondi was badly damaged as many old trees fell on this particular road vechicular traffic to the hill station was messed up .due to continous rain hampering the work , the workers are trying to clear off the trees away from the roads and they have also been trying to restore the power as soon as possible.
